During her eight years as a Clerk and Deputy Clerk of the Justice of the Peace Court, Dajuana gained firsthand knowledge of the day-to-day operations of the court, including court filings, pleadings, judgments, recordkeeping, claims, evictions, scheduling, and assisting members of the public.
Serving Baton Rouge
Dajuana is also the owner and operator of Notary of South Baton Rouge and Auto Title of Baton Rouge, where she has served the community for nearly two decades.

My decision to run for Justice of the Peace is rooted in experience, service, and a commitment to this community.
After spending eight years as a Clerk and Deputy Clerk of a Justice of the Peace Court, I understand firsthand the responsibilities of the court and the importance of having a Justice of the Peace who is knowledgeable, accessible, organized, professional, and fair.
For nearly 20 years, I have also had the privilege of serving this community through Notary of South Baton Rouge and Auto Title of Baton Rouge.
As a Louisiana Civil Law Notary Public since 2003, Notary Exam Preparation Course Instructor, former Louisiana Notary Association Board Member, and member of both the Louisiana Notary Association and National Notary Association, my professional life has been built around service, education, professionalism, and helping people.
I am running because I believe District 6 deserves a Justice of the Peace who understands the court and is prepared to serve from day one.
